St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School is a Voluntary Academy, within the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust in the Diocese of Leeds.
St John’s is a warm learning community full of enthusiastic children, and a very committed and dedicated staff team. Our vision is to provide an excellent Catholic education, where every child is enabled to achieve and progress spiritually, socially and academically-growing in God's love.
At St John's, we journey together with the courage to grow, nurturing the gift and talents of each wonderful, unique individual and we share God's love with each other every day. Our children are encouraged to develop an awareness and respect of others as well as themselves, and are a real credit to the school community.
We have high expectations in terms of teaching and children’s learning, behaviour and standards of achievement and, as a result, our pupils are keen to learn and they feel proud of their success in all areas of the curriculum, which we celebrate with great pride.
