St John the Baptist’s Nursery provides the perfect pre-school setting for your little one. Our open plan indoor learning environment is a spacious and fully interactive space; purposefully crafted by expert staff, keeping your little ones engaged whilst they learn through play.
Our extensive Early Years outdoor area offers our youngest pupils access to lots of activities from the mud kitchen, mini allotment and bike track.
In our nursery, children develop all the tools they need to make a flying start in Reception; they’ll be introduced to phonics, numeracy, as well as a wide range of topics within the EYFS curriculum carefully curated to keep their brains and hands busy.

We currently offer up to 30 hours term time only provision at St John's Nursery!
For the 15 Universal hour provision we offer sessions at the beginning of the week or at the end of the week, as follows:

Monday 9:00 - 15:00 Wednesday 12:00 - 15:00
Tuesday 9:00 - 15:00 Thursday 9:00 - 15:00
Wednesday 9:00 - 15:00 Friday 9:00 - 15:00
If your child is entitled to the extended entitlement, your child can stay for 30 hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 - 15:00
